Fyza SHE-Education

Empowering Afghan Girls Through Education:

Launched in November 2021, Fyza SHE-Education is a pioneering online platform dedicated to empowering Afghan girls through education. The program is currently sponsored by the Helay Chakhansuri Family Foundation (HCFF). We offer virtual classes to girls who are barred from attending secondary and high school due to prevailing bans. Our team, consisting of eight devoted female teachers and two enthusiastic volunteers, conducts classes for grades 7 through 12, with a focus on subjects such as English and Computer Science.

The response to our program has been overwhelmingly positive, attracting hundreds of girls who are keen to learn and grow. To date, we have reached over 220 girls, helping them to overcome barriers to education through their remarkable determination and resilience. Encouraged by this success, we are in the process of expanding our program to include an additional 180 girls, aiming to amplify our impact and continue changing lives for the better.

To sustain our vital education program for Afghan girls, financial support is essential for us to cover the salaries of the teachers, sustain internet services, and supply the necessary learning materials for our students. Our annual cost is USD 15,300, and we appreciate any donations to help us reach our annual goal.

HCFF is a nonprofit corporation and operates exclusively for educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
